Then it became closely associated with St. Sebastian, whose statue was brought from Italy and installed in the church. Belivers from all the religion must visit Arthunkal during the grand St. Sebastian’s Feast (Arthunkal Perunnal), in every January, to seek blessings and fulfill prayers.
